FR Review:
Clients enthusiastically support Rebecca Cole’s low-maintenance, naturalistic gardens. Securely rooted on two decades of experience, this internationally renowned lifestyle and design firm has been at the forefront of the industry. Drawing on her experience as a passionate gardener and antiques collector, Cole opened her much-publicized Greenwich Village store, originally named Potted Gardens. Rebecca Cole Grows designs, installs and maintains rooftop and terrace container gardens around New York City; she also designs oral arrangements for festive events.
Using just about any primitive or antique container, from washtubs to watering cans, iron sinks to wooden boxes, Cole advocates an organic, wild effect. We hear that although carefully designed and planned, Cole’s gardens often look as if they were planted by nature itself. Their services, however, cost a lot more than Mother Nature’s. Cole hosted all 200 episodes of the Discovery Channel’s Surprise by Design, repeatedly appeared on the Today Show, and has published three books on her carefree garden style—Potted Gardens: A Fresh Approach to Container Gardening, Paradise Found: Gardening in Unlikely Places, and Flower Power: Fresh, Fabulous Arrangements.
Representative Client Comments:
“I recommend Rebecca to all of my friends. She is the greatest gardener I know.” “She’s a ball of energy and I envy her imagination.” “Rebecca can make a beautiful garden out of a dirty rooftop.”
