Moore Ruble Yudell has had a particular passion for residential work since its inception in 1977. We have had the opportunity to design a number of carefully selected residential projects, working intimately with the client through all phases of design and construction. Our work varies in response to site, climate and the dreams and aspirations of our clients, and celebrates the relation between building, landscape, and the act of inhabitation. While much of our residential work is located in the western United States, it has ranged as far as Hawaii, Europe, the Caribbean, and Asia.
In addition to highest recognitions in the Franklin Report, Moore Ruble Yudell has been honored by Architectural Digest as one of its AD100, which recognizes 100 of the world's most distinguished residential designers. In 2006, Moore Ruble Yudell received the Architecture Firm Award from the National American Institute of Architects. Partners Buzz Yudell, FAIA and John Ruble, FAIA received the Gold Medal from the American Institute of Architects, Los Angeles (AIA/LA) in 2007.
