Company Philosophy
Dutchman Contracting Inc. was incorporated in 1999 by Thomas van de Veerdonk. Staffed with management in both the field and office, all having 25 years of experience in the area of high end residential construction as well as commercial properties. Guided by the principles of professionalism, integrity, and innovation we help attain a balance of design intent, function, and schedule that is appreciated by both the design team and client. This benefits the climate and expectations of any project.

Our work has appeared in Urban Renewal by Elle Décor, Beyond the Pale and All Made Up in Belle Magazine, Peace at Home by Juliet Pegrum, Small Wonders and Domestic Bliss in Interior Design Magazine, and Ancient & Modern by Cynthia Inions. Dutchman Contracting has completed commercial work with MAC Cosmetics, The Ultra Lounge, PORTS, and Sonia Kashuk. Our Urban Residential projects can be found in areas in the Upper West side, Upper East Side, Chelsea, Gramercy Park, West Village, East Village, SoHo, Lower East Side, Tribeca, The Financial District and Greenwich Village.
