Company Philosophy
Maggy Geiger opened The Window Box in 1975 after receiving her training at Wave Hill, the world renown public garden in the Bronx.

Our most important design philosophy has always been to discover what the client wants and to find the best way to give that to them. We believe strongly in establishing a personal relationship with our clients and their gardens and have purposely kept our business small so that we can be available to you in person.

We have always said our approach to gardening is Soup to Nuts. We are with you every step of the way from design to installation with a particular emphasis on maintenance to ensure that your garden is always glorious.

 
Areas of Expertise / Recent Projects
New projects are always on the horizon and we are thrilled that every year brings new opportunities to beautify our city and its surroundings.

Recent projects include a three year townhouse renovation with multiple gardens and terraces integrated into the renovation; two large "instant garden" penthouses installed from the ground up and of course many rooftops, penthouses, terraces and garden plots throughout the city from Tribeca to the Upper East Side. We also continue to provide both interior and exterior garden and floral displays for hotels, restaurants, commercial and residential buildings throughout the city.
