Company Philosophy
Founded in 1984, Cullman & Kravis is known for "interior decoration for collectors of fine art and antiques." Rather than brandishing a signature style, Cullman & Kravis custom tailors their designs to meet each client’s lifestyle – creating comfortable and livable spaces that are elegant, classic and timeless.
 
Areas of Expertise / Recent Projects
Recent projects have taken Cullman & Kravis from coast to coast – from a shingle-style waterfront estate in Nantucket to a Normandy-style beach house in Malibu. Stylistically, the projects have varied as well – from a classic Park Avenue duplex decorated in the English taste, to a Palm Desert glass box vacation house decorated in the modernist aesthetic. Clients have included CEOs of companies such as Miramax, Goldman Sachs and Phillip Morris, as well as young couples who are purchasing their first homes. Cullman & Kravis works with a design fee and a retail price structure, with a reasonable fee for collaborating on architecture and construction. Paperwork is extremely detailed, professional and comprehensive. Featured in the AD 100 Legends of Interior Design, 2000.
