FR Review:
Clients know Cordogan, Clark & Associates as a full-service architectural, planning and engineering firm that is highly regarded for executing projects within budget and on schedule. We are told the firm prides itself in creating spaces of functional efficiency while keeping an eye on the bottom line to contain costs. Insiders say a core philosophy of the firm is the importance of customer involvement. The firm engages clients in all decisions and throughout every phase of the project to ensure the client's vision is realized in the final product. Cordogan Clark devotes 40 percent of its business to residential projects and will take on a variety of projects from new construction to renovations.
This 50-person architectural firm, in business since 1984, serves Chicago and its suburbs with offices in Chicago and Aurora. Principal of the Chicago office, John Clark, earned both his undergraduate architecture degree in 1977 and his Master of Urban Planning and Policy Curriculum in 1979 from the University of Illinois. He also studied under Felix Candela at École des Beaux Arts, of Versailles in 1976. Principals John Codogan and John Clark guide each project personally. The firm charges standard architectural percentage rates or a fixed fee.
