Company Philosophy
David Easton is one of the acknowledged masters of neo-classical design and architecture. Yet in approach, he is more progressive than traditional. Over the years, his interiors have grown cleaner, more serene. Easton does not impose a look on clients. His genius lies in translating their style and aspirations into extraordinary environments. His firm can handle all aspects of a project from the architecture to the decoration to the landscape design. By developing these together, a seamless concept is realized that is then flawlessly produced.
 
Areas of Expertise / Recent Projects
Although best known for Albemarle, Patricia Kluge’s sumptuous, sprawling Georgian-style estate, Easton is in fact the master of many design styles. Sir John Soane and Karl Friedrich Schinkel have been significant inspirations, but so too have Luis Barragan and Frank Lloyd Wright. Traveling the world over for clients, he has studied an extraordinary range of exceptional houses that now influence his work. Easton has recently designed mountain retreats in Aspen and Sun Valley, a modern apartment in the Richard Meier building, a plantation house in Jamaica and a compound on a wildlife conservancy in Kenya.
